Let the voting begin!

We had lots of fun learning about elections, who can vote, and the process. We held our own election for the class president.  

We already have clas jobs, so picking jobs for the class president was pretty difficult. 

The biggest incentive to the class president is that they get to choose the class snack for the day!  I didn't think that was a big deal....but apparently, that's BIG!  

After knowing what the class presidents job entails, we had to nominate some classmates to run. 

We made posters and gave speeches. From there we nominated 4 people to place on our electronic ballot. The kids had tons of fun!
