SNACK!!!

If you can, please donate snacks for our PK-ers. Appropriate snacks are things such as goldfish, pretzels, cookies, animal crackers, graham crackers, etc.

Papers GALORE!!!

Please make sure to send all the forms found in your child's B.E.E. Folder back ASAP.  I was very excited to see how many I received today, although, i did not get all of them.  If you still have papers at home, please send them back.  Thanks! 

The Color RED!

This week we will be learning about the color red. Today we brainstormed a list of things that are red. First, we started by listing things we found in the "red jar."



We learned a song to help us remember the spelling of the word red. By the end of the week, your kiddos will be experts at singing it.

Fine Motor Skills

At the becoming of the year, we love to play with Playdoh. Playdoh is a great tool to strengthen fine motor skills. With strong fine motor skills, your child will have neat hand writing, and be able to make letter stroke easier.

First Day of Pre-K!

Well, I had a fabulous first day back with all of your little kiddos. I think this will be an awesome year. I hope they all came home and told you what fun we had today.
Please make sure you check your child's backpack for either a red or blue B.E.E. Folder. This folder has lots of information about our class, and important papers from the school. Take your time and read through them carefully, and send the forms back ASAP. Thank you so much for helping the first day of school run so smoothly.

Meet the Teacher

Meet the Teacher was a great success.  I was able to meet each and every child on my class list....what a great way to start the year off!  Your child's education is extremely important, and I can tell that all the parents I meet tonight share that same philosophy with me.
It was very nice to meet each and every parent, student, grandma and grandpa.  Thank you so much for coming! See you bright and early Monday morning!

Check out our classroom! Moving classrooms is hard work, but I've finally finished decorating and I am anxiously waiting my new PKers.

Shes my three year old. She cant wait to start "BIG School" herself. 

Where are the pictures???

I'm looking into why all my pictures from the older posts aren't showing up. I am aware of the problem....just don't know how to fix it. If anyone knows how to solve the issue, feel free to help!
