Learning Red

R-e-d spells red! Your child should be able to sing the song and recognize the word by now. Through this week we learned about scissors saftey and neat coloring. We were able to make a red page for our color book!

The Color RED!

This week we will be learning about the color red. Today we brainstormed a list of things that are red. First, we started by listing things we found in the "red jar."



We learned a song to help us remember the spelling of the word red. By the end of the week, your kiddos will be experts at singing it.

This was a book about two brothers and their mommy. The mommy loved one the reddest and one the bluest. Because read and blue make purple, she loved them the purplest! We made handprint hearts for our color book.

Mixing Secondary Colors

The kids really love to paint.  Learning while having fun is the BEST kind of learning.  We are still working on colors, but because we learned all three primary colors we are using them to make the secondary colors.  Here are two students mixing blue and yellow to make Green! Check out the concentration. :)
