Polygons

Last week was a review in math. We talked about polygons and 3D shapes. I figured this go around we would do more fun activities since we all pretty much grasped those concepts te first time around. 

We went outside and creates the shapes with yarn. We used our hands as vertices and talked about each shape from a triangle to an octagon! 

The challenge was to make an octagon with with 40 people and 8 pieces of yarn. Working together was key in this activity. Here are some pictures!
