Last week we talked about elapsed time. (Does something take seconds, minutes, or hours?). The kids pretty much had this concept down, so we had a little fun with it!
We timed ourselves to see how long it took to tie our shoes, how long it took to write out names, how long it takes to say everyone's name in the classroom, and much more. Some of our little experiments surprised me on how fast they could complete some of the tasks.
