Homework?

There are only a handful of student who are bringing their homework back to school.  Remember to check your child's folder daily, and initial in the calendar square.  Homework goes home EVERY Monday.  It is to be turned in EVERY Friday.  Most of the time, I will leave it in there until Friday.  PLEASE sit down with your child and help them do their homework.  It will give them extra practice on the skills we are working on in the classroom, but it will also show them that you also think school is a top priority for them in life.  If you train your child early on homework rituals, it will become habit for them when they reach the older grades (Which will make your life a lot easier in the future).  I would like to see 100 percent participation with doing, and turning in homework. It's not too late to complete this weeks homework.  You have today and tomorrow to sit down with your child and complete it.  I will be looking for everyone's  homework this Friday!

P.S.  I will have a homework talk with the kids as well.  :)
