Rectangle

This week, rectangle was our shape focus.  We sang a song about Rudy the Rectangle.  We also looked around the room for rectangles.  We found so many things that are the shape of a rectangle.  Some of the things we found were our tables, the classroom door, the windows, the lights on the ceiling, and even the Texas and American flag!  Check out the rectangle we made with two toothpicks (two short sides) and two popsicle sticks (two long sides) .
