This week we talked about the Texas flag and the American flag. We went over both flags attributes.
The American Flag has 50 stars which represent the 50 states of America. It also has 13 stripes which represent the first 13 colonies.
The Texas Flag has one Lone Star and a red and a white stripe. The red on the Texas flag stands for strgnth, the blue bravery, and the white purity.

I would be proud to let fly those American flags in front of my home! What a fantastic project, I am so happy to see some teachers are still willing to instill pride and patriotism into our children. Thank you for the wonderful post.
