Matter Review

Matter has 3 states:
Solids,Liquids and Gases
A solid is a substance that has it's own shape. Some solids can be changed by adding heat to it....but not all of them!
A liquid is a substance that does not have its own shape, but it takes on the shape of the container it is in. Most liquids can be poured.
A gas usually can not be seen. It fills the space it is held in. Oxygen is an example of a gas.

Can your child name examples of all 3 stated of matter?
