Dissecting a Tiny Pumpkin

We cut a small pumpkin in half to see what we would find. We found pumpkin guts and seeds!  I decided to let the class open up a small one because we were going to count the amount of seed that were inside of the pumpkin.  Well, that tiny pumpkin was holding 152 seeds! 

That was a little more that I bargained for.  We counted them all!  We also cleaned out all the pumpkin guts.  This is what the pumpkin looked like when we were done with it.
