Matter with Jello

Our matter study is coming to an end. We had lots of fun with this unit. Lots of excitements, Popsicles, big bubbles filled with gas, and now jello!  We made jello change stated from a liquid to a solid, ad then back to a liquid again. We talked about reversible and irriversae changes. When we poured the jello powder into water and mixed it up, that was an irreversable change. On the other hand, wen we change that jello solution from a liquid to a solid, that was a reveraible change...cause we could make it go back to the jello solution. Well, next week we have a big test on Matter.  I think the kids are well prepared for it. We also have a test on grammar (nouns, verbs, adjectives) and continents. Everyone should have gotten a study guide for the continents that went home on Monday.
